Successful content marketing—much like a delicious cookie—requires a careful mix of quality ingredients to be irresistible to your audience; several cups of creativity, a satisfying brand narrative for richness and flavor, and the essential binding agent (consistency).
Generative AI might play the role of a shiny automatic mixer to speed up the process, but it doesn’t address challenges like:

Why do I lead with a photo of a giant cookie?
I’m glad you asked!
This photo was unearthed when I struggled to compose an open to work post after an untimely layoff in 2023.
I was tired of seeing stuffy, cookie-cutter LinkedIn content that was devoid of personality in the name of being ‘professional.’ So, I decided to take ‘that’s the way the cookie crumbles’ a bit too literally to celebrate my soon-to-be unemployment - and my network loved it.
‘Cookie girl’ represented the kind of marketing professional I wanted to be - so I decided to make her the centerpiece of my personal brand.
She highlights the quirky, irreverent side of my personality that I suppressed a lot as an insecure graduate. And more importantly, she gives YOU a sense of who I am and what I’m like to work with.
Think of it as a kind of mutual screening tactic. A potential client or workplace that sees a cookie selfie on my home page and bounces probably wasn’t going to be a match made in heaven anyway (and that’s okay with me!)
